FAQs

Q: How do I find the Festival?

A: Our address is: Purton House Organics, Church End, Purton, Swindon. SN5 4EB

ALL TRAFFIC: Please enter via 'The Fox' from the B4553. You can get to site from Purton but the road by the Church is quite small.

​

Q: Is there an age restriction to the Festival?

A: No. Festival on the Farm is a family oriented Festival and is open to all well-behaved ages. Under 4 year olds get in FREE!

Q: Can I buy tickets on-line over the festival weekend?

A: YES, The on-line booking system will be open all weekend and you will be able to buy on the gate assuming we have not sold out? Day tickets are available from July 1st.

Q: We have camping tickets are we able to leave the festival site to get supplies/shower etc?

A: Yes, no problem.

Q: Are BBQ's allowed at the Festival?

A: Stand up gas or charcoal BBQ’s will be ok in the campsite only. Disposable BBQ's must not be used on the grass. You need to keep the heat away from the grass due to fire risk. NO OPEN FIRES ARE ALLOWED.

Q: Are dogs allowed?

A: Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed in all areas of the festival. Please clean up after your dog.

Q: Do I have to buy a camping pitch ticket for each camper?

A: No, one TENT PITCH or LIVE-IN VEHICLE PITCH covers all inhabitants. Note: The maximum number of occupants depends on the design of the tent/live in-vehicle i.e. a 2 man tent can hold 2 people etc.

Q: Are camping chairs allowed?

A: Yes, no problem at all. Also picnic blankets and low height sun shades for the kids. Please be mindful of those behind you.

Q: Can I bring my own booze?

A: Yes you can. For the Campsite no problem, but in the Arena, please only bring a reasonable amount for personal consumption as we need to get revenue from the bar to help fund the Festival. Most Festivals we know will not allow this so let's be fair. Our bar prices are always reasonable plus you'll get a nice cold pint! REMEMBER, glass is strictly FORBIDDEN on the Festival site.

 

Challenge 25:  To purchase alcohol we have a policy in place to challenge any customers whom we believe to be under the age of 25 to provide ID. Acceptable ID includes Driving License, Passport or a PASS card.

Q: Is glass allowed on the Festival site?

A: No. Glass is strictly forbidden on the Festival site. Please bring plastic or paper cups for drinking. Our bar will provide reusable plastic cups for a small fee. Use them all weekend and take them home and bring back to use next year.

​

Q: We want to book a live-in vehicle pitch for the weekend. As there is music Sunday evening can we depart on Monday morning?

A: Yes, our Campsite is open from Thursday to Noon Monday.

Q: Is there a car park if you are not Camping?

A: Yes, a FREE car park is available. Please have a valid Festival ticket to gain entry. To buy tickets go to our Tickets page HERE.
